Who we are

Yes Choir was founded in Berlin by Jake Painter and Suzy Hurrell, two musicians originally from London. It has fast become Berlin's most loved pop-up choir, with sell out shows across the city, and we are now so excited to bring the concept to London.

Suzy Hurrell is one of the leading opera singers in the UK – Suzy trained at the Royal College of Music and has performed as a soloist at venues such as English National Opera, the Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne, Norwegian National Opera and the Royal Albert Hall – She's an expert singing coach and plays piano and ukulele.

Jake Painter has performed with international pop acts such as Culture Club, Paloma Faith, Vampire weekend, The Streets, as well as writing and producing a UK Top 10 hit single. He has lead many educational ensembles over the years including choirs and instrumental groups performing at venues such as The Barbican in London.
